We’ve had a few people ask — Why call it Salt & Steel? What does that even mean?

Here’s why:

SALT

Salt stands for truth, preservation, and purpose.

Jesus said:

“You are the salt of the earth…” – Matthew 5:13

Salt preserves what is good. It flavors what is bland. It heals what’s been wounded. We’re called to be that — bold in faith, unafraid to stand for righteousness, and willing to make a difference where others stay silent.

STEEL

Steel represents strength, discipline, and resilience.

It’s forged in fire. Shaped by pressure. Built to endure.

It’s the practical, grounded side of faith — showing up, standing firm, protecting what matters, and walking out our calling in the real world.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17

This is the kind of faith that’s steady under pressure — tested, refined, and ready.

“Built For The Storm” — What It Means

Life brings storms — physical, emotional, and spiritual.

We weren’t promised an easy path — but we were called to be ready.

“Built For The Storm” isn’t just a tagline — it’s a way of life.

It means building on a foundation that holds.

Being equipped spiritually, mentally, and practically.

Facing trials, family life, cultural chaos, and spiritual battles with courage, clarity, and faith.

This space is for anyone who doesn’t run from the storm…

They gear up and walk through it — with grit and grace.
