“When the Forecast Turns”

Life doesn’t always give a warning. One day everything’s clear skies—and the next, you’re caught in a storm you didn’t see coming. Trouble shows up fast. Winds change. Plans shift. And in those moments, the question isn’t if the storm will come. It’s: Are you built for it?

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.” —Isaiah 43:2 NKJV

This verse reminds us that storms are part of the journey—but so is God’s presence. He doesn’t always calm the storm immediately, but He promises to walk with us through it. That’s the foundation of Salt & Steel—faith forged in fire, anchored in truth, and ready for whatever life throws our way.

Where EDC Comes In

Everyday carry isn’t about fear—it’s about being prepared. Just like you carry what you need for the unexpected—a knife, a pen, a flashlight, maybe a rugged Bible—you also carry what can’t be seen: discipline, courage, prayer, and faith. EDC is physical preparation. Faith is spiritual preparation. Together, they equip you to face both the world’s chaos and your own.

Being ready isn’t just a hobby—it’s a mindset. It’s knowing that when the forecast turns, you don’t fold. You stand. Because what you’ve built inside matters more than what’s coming at you.

Salt & Steel: Built for the Storm.

Follow for more on faith, gear, grit, and walking through the weather without losing your footing.
