Not long after my wife and I found out we were expecting, I had a conversation with a man that I’ll never forget. We had just received the kind of news that only God could have orchestrated — after being told we had about a 3% chance of ever having a child, we were holding onto the miracle of new life. I was still trying to wrap my head around it when he looked at me and said something simple, yet deeply profound:

ree

“God does not work on percentages.”

That truth hit me like a lightning bolt. We live in a world that relies on odds, numbers, stats, and probabilities to tell us what is likely and what is not. But God? He’s not limited by statistics. He doesn’t need good odds to do great things. Whether it’s 3%, 1%, or even 0%, if God says it’s time, then nothing can stop it.

This message isn’t just for those hoping for a child — it applies to every walk of life. Maybe you’re fighting to rebuild your marriage, chasing a dream you’ve nearly given up on, praying for healing, or trying to find peace after years of struggle. The numbers may not look good. The world may tell you it’s too late or too unlikely. But remember:

God does not work on percentages. He works on purpose.

The Bible reminds us of this truth in Luke 1:37: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

So no matter what you’re facing today — don’t let the numbers steal your hope. If God is in it, then anything is possible.
